The Shuddering

★★★★☆

Characters- Twins Ryan and Jane. Jane’s BFF- Lauren Ryan’s BFF- Sawyer Thomas ( yeah I know ) lol Sawyer’s Fiance’- April ( she’s a Debbie downer, but I get it, meeting people can be nerve wrecking ) She judges them almost as much as they judge her. And the Adorable Husky ( and my personal favorite character ) Oona. Who are taking a mini vacation to Ryan and Jane’s dad’s lodge in the mountains, one last weekend before the lodge is sold. And people begin to move their lives forward.. supposedly. ( Plus Minor and forgettable characters ) Plus the creatures that are stalking these people in the woods. These creatures are HUNGRY.. ……….. You do get thrills, drama, romance ( love triangle ) and bloodshed and horror. And an adorable husky.. lol. These friends are on a mini vacation to Ryan and Jane’s father’s cabin in the snowy mountains. Getting a chance to ski and let loose. Romances Fly. A love triangle forms. New romances start to bloom. And then the horror begins. The horror only starts with the filler characters. But soon reach the MCs. It’s not as scary as I thought it would be. The characters are mostly adult juveniles. The best character was Oona. I dont remember if the monsters are even identified. I thought they were Wendigo.. but I’m not sure. I just know they are terrifying. This gave me Until Dawn ( the video game ) vibes. But I did enjoy most of this book.
