Ratings and reviews
I’m going to start by saying this.. if you read the back cover.. ( I don’t normally ) it does say featuring other novellas. This book is not just Ghost Camera ( it’s only the first 100 or so pages. ) But I am disappointed. The presentation/promotion ( from what I saw and read ) was about Ghost Camera. Even though I knew what to expect, I didn’t know the main story would only be the first 100 or so pages. That in itself was disappointing. Then the rushed feeling the story had, bummer. This had the makings of a very good book. Had it had a back story to characters, ghosts and all. But it didn’t. I don’t even remember what the plot was, because it jumped into another story so fast. I don’t think the novellas were even tied in to the main story. The stories were good. But I understand why people DNF’D or were upset about it. Why put other novellas into a book when there’s so much story that could’ve been written for the main. The other novellas were good but.. all I wanted was Ghost Camera to be better than what it was. I gave this a 2.5 or low 3/5 because it was disappointing. ( Sorry if this was harsh, I still love this author ) but not the best work.
