Agreement

By creating a Book Nook account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the app's community features.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Book Nook. Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what is posted from your account.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

Book Nook has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You may not post, share or send content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, illegal, spam, or that infringes someone else's rights. You may not bully, impersonate, stalk or harass other readers. This applies to posts, comments, reviews, photos, profile details, and group and club names.

Reporting and blocking

You can report a post, comment or review from the menu next to it, and report or block a reader from their profile or from the menu on their posts. A blocked reader's posts, comments and reviews are hidden from you.

How we act on reports

We review reports within 24 hours. Content that breaks these terms is removed, and the account that posted it is suspended or permanently removed. We may remove content or accounts without notice.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Book Nook permission to store it and show it to the readers you share it with, so the app can work. You can delete your posts at any time, and deleting your account removes your data.

Book data

Book details and covers come from the Book Nook database. They are provided as is and may contain errors.

Changes and ending your account

We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app when we do, and continuing to use Book Nook means you accept the new terms. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab.
