He Leadeth Me: Instrumental Solo With Piano Accompaniment (Instrumental Solo With Piano Accompaniment Collection)

Scroll below for a video of the score as played in Finale.

This arrangement requires the Grade 2.0-2.5 technical skills, range, and maturity of high school performers and an accomplished pianist. After a brief piano introduction, the hymn tune is introduced by the soloist in common time in the Concert Key of C Major. The second setting is a triple meter feel in 12/8. There is a return to 4/4 time, with a modulation into D Major to finish. The soloist’s range is not extreme (high Concert E above middle C in bass clef), and the rhythmic demands of the familiar hymn are very minimal. This is a rather easy arrangement to put together and a popular choice for performances in many types of church, school, and civic programs.

This volume contains a score for piano accompanying a C Instrument in Bass Clef. There are individual instrumental parts for: C Instrument in Treble Clef (Flute, Oboe, Violin – in 2 octaves) Bb Instrument in Treble Clef (Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone, Trumpet) Eb Instrument in Treble Clef (Alto Clarinet, Alto/Baritone Saxophone) F Instrument in Treble Clef (Horn in F – in 2 octaves) C Instrument in Bass Clef (Bassoon, Trombone, Euphonium, Cello) Low C Instrument in Bass Clef (String Bass, Tuba) Alto Clef for Viola. He Leadeth Me will be a very special addition to your collection of popular instrumental solo works with piano accompaniment.
