Arcana

During a trip to Scotland with her best friend, Evey, Carrie discovers that her father and her closest friends have been keeping secrets -- secrets about themselves and secrets about the world they live in. Magic exists. Mythical beings exist. The secrets about her past, however, are more difficult to unlock, especially when she is being hunted at the same time. Now, she must find out how to open her dead mother's magic journal while evading a terrible foe, who is hell bent on using her in a ritual to open a portal into the demonic world of Nuzu'aha, a portal which may unravel the very fabric of reality. The stability of existence itself delicately hangs in the balance.
