Ratings and reviews
This is an audiobook review: -The Story: a domestic thriller. It starts out excellent but filler content, dialog and inner thoughts, take up a lot of story. But it was cliche’. It’s almost every thriller has this kind of story. Gets boring. The answer is almost always the one who isn’t a prominent character. But the answer is given in a hint. Just have to catch it. - Characters: I can relate to falling for someone quickly. But not to this extent. The MC lies. Is obsessive. And most of the characters sound so immature. Go see a therapist. Falling for a man who basically couldn’t be bothered checking on his wife and continues to write his story. He’s an awful person, don’t be fooled. I hated all of these characters. - The Narrator: This is a me problem. this is why I rather have Alexa read to me and I think they should have multiple people reading the different parts. I have a problem with narrators. This one irritated me. Every sentences seemed panicky, whiney and I cringe. -Overall: I couldn’t wait for this to be over.. I like the story but the characters and narrator make me want to pull my hair out. ( I see another book that sounds interesting by this author, so I may give her one more go ). 3.2/5⭐️s
