Robbie Goes To School (The Robbie Series)

This is the second book in the series about the life and experiences of Robbie, the rescue Golden Retriever. In this book Robbie attends obedience school and meets many new doggy friends. Her mom teaches her that although the new doggy friends may be quite different from Robbie, she should treat each of them with kindness. Robbie learns that although her new friends look different, and are from different places, and enjoy doing different things that are each very special. When she is bullied on the play ground by one of the dogs, she chooses to befriend him rather than engage him. After that experience Robbie realizes it is good to be strong and kind and that we all need friends.
