Allen did everything right. He read and knew the Bible and believed that God was Who He said He was. Allen’s trust was firm. He witnessed God do miracles in his life and the lives of others and knew He could do what He said He could do. Allen’s faith was strong. However, at four in the morning, in a cold and dark hospital room, Allen sat quietly with his wife as their daughter struggled to catch her last breath and then died. From that day on, Pastor Allen Anthony stepped down from the pulpit and asked, “Why Me?”
