Just Once - A Deadwood Fairy Tale

In the dusty, historic town of Deadwood, South Dakota, a modern-day fairy tale unfolds, blending past and present, love and loss, and the veil between worlds.

Meet Susannah McDonald, a spirited teenager haunted by a tragic past that left her an orphan and cynical about Deadwood's famed "ghostly" charm. Her life is a predictable cycle of school and a mundane job at a local fun park, until strange occurrences begin at the old saloon-turned-library. Messages appear on computer screens, addressed directly to her and signed "J.O'S," hinting at a watchful, unseen presence. Her skepticism is challenged further when she's reluctantly drawn into the Deadwood Paranormal Society, an eccentric group led by her aunt and the town librarian, eager to introduce her to the supernatural.

Meanwhile, Jamie O'Sullivan Jr., a charming 19th-century card shark, finds his eternal slumber disrupted. Murdered over a poker game in 1876, his spirit has been tethered to the very building where he met his end-now a library. For over a century, he's been a semi-silent observer, learning about the modern world through books and the internet, and developing an unexpected connection with a certain young woman who frequents his ghostly domain.

"Just Once: Deadwood: A Ghostly Fairy Tale" is a captivating romance that explores destiny, forgiveness, and the power of a love that transcends time. Can Susannah and Jamie navigate the complexities of their unique relationship while battling past demons and dangerous new threats? As their bond deepens, they must face a challenge where everything they've found could be lost forever.
