Hold Me Tight

Hold Me Tight The Reid Legacy Book 2Hollywood 1946When Evelyn was offered a new role as the female lead in an upcoming movie, things started to change. As a requirement for this movie, she would have to spend four days in a cabin alone with her co-star, William Curtis. The purpose of this new technique, in preparing for the movie, was to create a closeness that would be conveyed on the screen. Will Sterling her manager and love be able to let her pursue her dreams or will she have to do it alone? "That sounds like an interesting plot. Who will Evelyn be acting with?" Sterling firmly asked, looking at Evelyn."It will be William Curtis. I also wanted to mention that we are trying a new acting technique. We want their natural chemistry to be very obvious on the screen; however, these two people don't know each other. We have a remedy for this. It is a four-day program that would involve different projects that would have them working together as a team that builds trust, unity, and rapport. This program is required. They will be staying at a cabin by themselves in separate rooms. It needs to be just the two of them, so they can start to rely on each other," said Mr. Montgomery, looking very calm."That is unacceptable!" fumed Sterling."We already had a verbal commitment from Miss Dahl," said Mr. Montgomery, leaning forward in his chair."I'm sure she wasn't aware of the requirements. You can't expect us to honor the agreement when all of the details weren't laid out. I also don't think it is a good idea for the two of them to be alone. It won't look good if the press gets hold of this. I think, if the movie is filmed in the normal fashion, they will be able to convey that special bond," explained Sterling."Miss Dahl was very aware of the requirements," Mr. Montgomery said while looking at Sterling directly in the eyes.Sterling directed his attention to Evelyn. "Did you know about this?" asked a stunned Sterling.
