Residue
This Residue publication accompanies a programme of 14 individual exhibitions, commissions, performances, residencies and installations. Residue marks firstsite s transition from its home for over 10 years, the Minories Art Gallery, to a purpose-built space in 2007. The artists who participated in Residue explored a range of ideas and approaches: broad notions of residue, firstsite s own history and the preceding legacies at the Minories were investigated through a range of static and active responses.
