The Governor

When a disgraced and suspended attorney is accused of murder, he relies on his alibi to prove his innocence. But the fact that he was with an old friend when the crime was committed, might not be enough - even if that old friend happens to be the Governor. Follow the unthinkable tale of Rooney Wilcox as he unfolds a world of greed and corruption in the quest to clear his name. Early in his journey he discovers that some friendships come with a price; and that price may be more than he is willing to pay. From the author of "Flowers for the May Queen" this fast-paced novel will make you question how far a person should go to protect someone they love. And how many innocent lives must be lost to achieve that protection.
