Hell-Bent for Vengeance
Hell-bent for Vengeance Annabeth Mance's mother was trampled to death by their herd of longhorns which had been stampeded and stolen by Bull Giles, a nortorious rustler and murderer. Believing that God had deserted her, she determines to track down Bull Giles and his men. She and Reed Ramirez, her God-fearing sweetheart, leave Texas to find the killers. Little did Annabeth know that her vengeance would nearly cost her and Reed their lives. Little did Reed know that her disillusionment with God would be so difficult to change. Always a few miles ahead of Annabeth and Reed as they combed the desolate Kansas prairie, rode a man who bore the wounds of Annabeth's fury. Bull Giles was also furious, and determined to kill her for crippling him, but he should have considered her tenacity, and avoided her at all cost.
