Moving isn’t always easy. Sometimes it feels like the hardest thing in the world. This little squirrel loves their loving home by the beach. But one day, it’s time to pack the boxes and say goodbye. As the squirrel sets off on a big move to a brand-new place, they learn that love, family, and happiness can come with you, and that there will be new friends wherever you go. Perfect for children facing a move, this heartwarming story shows that change can lead to new adventures and that home is always with you. This story is based on my many moves during childhood, especially from Brazil to Boston and then Boston to Colorado. Coming from someone who has moved between countries, states, cities, and schools, I think a book like this would have been very comforting.
