I always thought fairy tales started with a princess finding a lost shoe or a noble guard sweeping her off her feet. I never imagined I'd be the one finding a royal guard's spur.

Once upon a time, I dreamed of becoming a professional ballerina, but life had other plans for me.

As a fresh graduate from the London School of Fashion, I'm focused on one goal: landing an internship at the exclusive Clarissa Lee Atelier, one of the country's top fashion houses.

But just as with my dance career, fate has other ideas. On the day my application is due, my carefully laid plans are thrown off course by an unexpected meet-cute with Sam-a tall, dark, and handsome royal guard.

Maybe I've been too focused on my career, and the universe is telling me it's time to live a little. But Sam is just as driven as I am, determined to advance in his military career while caring for his younger sisters.

With both of our futures at a crossroads, is there room for both ambition and love? Or is a fairy-tale ending just out of reach?
