The Suspects

One explosive moment changed everything. Joe's blood ran cold as the meaning of the news report soaked in. Joe Gracziano and Adrienne Hayes were "persons of interest" and were wanted for questioning by police. Adrienne stepped up beside him, watching the report herself. Her eyes widened and for once the two were thinking the same thing at the same time. If the man who'd fired the gun at them as the bar went up in flames saw this broadcast, too, it meant that Joe and Adrienne also were wanted by an entirely different group of people. But those people wouldn't be asking any questions. They'd be out for blood, and they wouldn't stop until they had every last drop of it.
