A Place in the Sun

Indie romance writer and recently divorced Treasure Donovan, disillusioned about obtaining her own happy-ever-after-ending, is embracing her independence. Spending her days locked in her apartment imagining worlds where her broken characters are healed by the power of love, Treasure is singularly focused on her peace.

Hotshot cardiovascular surgeon, Joaquin Powell could repair any broken heart except his. Following a tragedy years ago, he decided love wasn't for him. Preferring to live life single and free in New Orleans, Joaquin is only committed to his career.

Then Joaquin meets the frustratingly hot and elusive Treasure. From the first moment they meet, neither can deny the heat that blazes between them, though they are from two different worlds. Treasure challenges his methodical approach to life with her warmth and instinctual one as their paths continue to cross until their chance meetings appear purposeful and destined.

Now, Treasure and Joaquin must decide if they’re willing to risk the one thing neither one ever planned to give again: their hearts.
