The Descendant: Curse of the Fairy Queen

My name is Cat Beale and I live in a small-town off the coast of Cape Cod. It’s a place where everyone pretty much knows each other, and tourists love to visit the beaches. When something out of the ordinary happens, my father’s paper is the first to pick up the story. Everyone in town says my dad has this “Beale Drive”, the need to solve the unsolvable. However, life as we know it changes when my parents die in a fatal accident. I’ve started seeing visions of their accident, along with teenagers disappearing, black cats and sigils of death everywhere… it’s invading my brain. Something wicked is coming to our town of Anu, and it looks like I'm the only one who can solve the disappearances and my parents’ suspicious end. Who is behind all these attacks? I’m having dreams and visions of a ghost-like woman with a sinister smile that never quite reaches her eyes. Her downward eyebrows draw in evil. She’s a force of nature, and darkness always follows her. She’s petrifying…and somehow, my friends and I have landed on her radar. If my intuition is right: This woman is some sort of ancient evil, and she’s growing stronger. She cannot be allowed to get what she’s after—whatever it is will cause devastation. Time is running out and I need to unravel the past to save the people I love. How can I stop a woman who reeks of chaos and death?
