Eighty years ago, the "unsinkable" Titanic struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic, sending the ship and 1,503 passengers to a watery grave. Now, a group of scientists and adventurers going down to explore the wreck are unprepared for the terror awaiting them. . . . A thriller by the brother of Twilight Zone's Rod Serling. Martin's.

||This book brought out all of my fears. It has horror, supernatural elements, apparitions, , cheesy brief romance, thrills. In 1975 Derek Montague is the main character in this book. He and his group of explorers are searching Titanic Wreck for treasure that is supposedly aboard the ship. When strange and heart pounding things start to happen. And then tragedy strikes. 18 years later- he is summoned to do it again. This time with a government expedition. And things don’t go well this time either. It’s like an in/out body experience and Derek and his crew start to hear and see things. Derek witnesses the some events through another pair of eyes. Something is trying to keep the wreckage safe from exploration and will stop at nothing to keep the site safe. I really enjoyed this book. The only thing I didn’t like was the stereotypical men and the sexualisation of the women. Other than that it was a great book. It gave me thrills and brought a few fears of my to a whole new level of anxiety. ** But with a few historical inaccuracies” especially about the Carter Maid not surviving. In fact she actually did survive. So a 4/5 stars for me.||
