The Pride

Some years ago an Italian boy married an Italian girl. As a man he met Patricia 'Pie' Trenton during a time when mixing with anyone of color was hated. Pauli, was like a male lion, already Boss but when he met Pie they took over the Elm City and beyond, setting the stage for what would become The Strip years later owned and operated by Pie's daughter. Angela, Pauli's wife has to make drastic decisions, Pie has an ailing uncle she loves with all of her heart, then there was Lucy Gunns Pauli's much older sister who hated the situation Pauli, and Angela were in but she loved Pie. This is a story about the courage, strength and insanity of the men and women who made up The Pride.
