Ares & Athena

The Art of War, The Prince, On War!A Philosophical update to Sun Tzu, Niccolò Machiavelli and Carl von Clausewitz on politics and the conduct of war. Their works are as relevant today as when they were first written. All three writers were men of reason who lived in a time when the state was still sovereign. In the 20th century, under the cloak of democracy, the corporate state moved into politics, academia and the media gaining inordinate control of western societies across the globe. In the West, the state has been subordinated to serve capital mutating the traditional models of empire and state. Ares and Athena discusses modifications required, in order to achieve a successful outcome regarding the prosecution of war, in this new paradigm.
