The Last Dungeon Crawler

Mike Simpson

Known to all as Doctor Franklin Barbarossa III, professor of history and archeology at New York University, he is the world’s foremost expert on ancient artifacts. In reality, he is Fahlgrim Firebeard, warrior-cleric and six-thousand-year-old sole survivor of an ancient race of dwarves.

Long ago, there existed an age of swords and sorcery, when men lived in harmony with elves, and dwarves, and magical creatures roamed the Earth. That was until an evil sorceress with an insatiable lust for power waged a war that plunged all the races of Earth into a thousand years of darkness. The age of magic was over, and elves, dwarves, and the other mystical creatures of the world faded into folklore. But Fahlgrim’s story was far from over.

As one of a chosen few tasked with safeguarding the knowledge of ages past, and keeping watch over the human race, Fahlgrim took a vow to live out his days finding and destroying every magical object, scroll, and parchment from that mystical age. To aid his mission, he was endowed with prolonged life and has been mankind’s secret protector for untold centuries.

When an unspeakable ancient evil threatens to return the world to darkness, Fahlgrim must race against time to assemble a team and find an ancient artifact that holds the key to victory before it is too late. He is, The Last Dungeon Crawler.
