In her first book, THE TANGLED GARDEN, Elizabeth Coleman wrote of her early life, keeping house for her father and eventually in 1919 marrying a childhood sweetheart, who subsequently died suddenly from his war wounds. Being left with no money, she found it very necessary to find someone to look after her three children while she worked. This second book describes the following course of her life up to the year 1990, when she reached her ninetieth birthday.
