Sincerely, Vaniece

Sincerely, Vaniece is a collection of some of my best poems I’ve written within the last five years. Throughout my poems, I cover topics such as friendships, feelings and my spiritual walk with God, along with more serious topics such as mental health and social justice issues. Most of the poems come with a description of my thought process while writing them along with my intended message. My inspiration for this book is due to verbal feedback from those around me who have been moved by these poems. The cover contains a butterfly, not just because they are my favorite insect but because they symbolize transformation. Reading these poems in chronological order may even show you my own character development throughout these past few years, as many of my thoughts changed with experience and wisdom. My hope for you as the reader is to also feel moved by these poems and maybe even transform with me. This project is really personal to me, and I appreciate you so much for taking the time to support me.
