When Ellie was five years old, she thought she saw something fall from the sky. The incident was reported to the U.S. military, which searched her family farm but finds nothing. Soon after, her mother loses her job with the U.S. Treasury and then disappears from their lives forever.

Ellie courageously pits her problem-solving skills against a powerful and corrupt politician looking to safeguard his haunting cover-up. Her drive to make things right leads her on a dangerous journey to find the truth. Ellie needs to trust her instincts and depend on her friends to ultimately uncover what really happened when she was a child.

HELENE MORRIS grew up in central Maryland. She holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Maryland and an MA in Organizational Communications from Marist College. For more than 35 years, Helene sold and delivered software solutions to global clients, mostly in Aerospace and Defense.

What Falls from the Sky was inspired by Helene's interest in using technology to solve problems in creative ways along with her passion for mystery and suspense stories.
