Letter to the Unloved

“Letter to the Unloved” is the story of God’s passionate love for a helpless, struggling child. It was written for the most broken, least accepted people to hear the good news of the gospel in simple language, without the excessive burdens of legalistic religion. Our Father’s supernatural love is limitless, and its power can restore the ugliest parts of us. This letter offers the truth that every reader is qualified to receive that love unconditionally and with infinite measure.

At only 52 pages and a minimal price point, “Letter to the Unloved” is the perfect ministry tool. With frequent references to scripture and a detailed analysis of every key pillar of the faith, (grace, law, sin, repentance, etc.) both the prodigals and new believers alike can learn potent truths in an easy-to-read package.

The story of Jesus does not need to be complicated. God said the foolish would confound the wise. When told plainly, the gospel is easy to believe, and everyone who doesn’t believe wishes they did. There’s a great commission we’ve been given, and there’s a large harvest we’ve neglected by catering to the academics and the country-club-Christians while neglecting the poor, the addicted, and the people who sin differently than we do.

At my pastor’s suggestion, I wrote this letter with the hopes of re-centering our focus, making the good news brief and digestible to those who need it most, and distributing it cheaply to as many lost sheep as possible. I’ve experienced the presence of God many times, but my first time truly internalizing his sacrifice, and how personal the cross truly was, happened while writing the second chapter. After such a sweet, grateful moment, I’m convinced his spirit was with me as I wrote.
