Jasmine
JASMINE is a sweetly illustrated book that empowers three flowers, steering them towards positive modeling and showing each how to be planted and watered to sprout, grow, and nurture their own uniqueness by developing positive thoughts, feelings and behaviors. In this story, the rose, daisy, and jasmine flowers are used as a means of sharing how “weeds,” or bad flowers can harm ones, self-esteem. The jasmine flower suffered from low self-esteem because it was often never picked. It is finally picked and lands in the home as a gift for a man’s wife. The jasmine flower quickly learns and cherishes its uniqueness by vitalizing its creativity, and self-worth as the new normal. It had a specific purpose in the garden bed and that was to offer hope, love, and beauty, blending with the other flowers’ souls, allowing all to shine. Grade Level: 5-8
