When Dominic's world is shattered by the sudden death of his bestfriend and soulmate, he fondly remembers their childhood and adolescence but he must also unravel the web of lies, deceit and institutional violence that has led them to this crushing and senseless end to his friend's life. A story of true friendship set against the background of the Irish troubles. Although inseparable, Dom and Dualta are very different characters with very opposing views on life. However, events seem to give the friends little choice in their fate and destiny, as they embark on an odyssey through life that takes them halfway round the world and brings them hurtling towards a brutal and agonizing end to their bond.
