The Mad Prophet

From the magical lands of the Wilderness to floating cities in the sky, magic and technology collide in this second Sorcery and Science epic fantasy collection. Two rival empires, forged in technology, are racing to hunt down every piece of the magic Recovery Scrolls. Once assembled, these ancient artifacts will point the way to any sorcerer alive, no matter where they're hiding. Notorious assassin Jason Chanz knows who their first target will be: Terra Cross, Elite Prophet and the only friend he has ever known. If either empire gets their hands on her, they will drug and torture her until she uses her gift to serve them. To save his friend from a life of perpetual torment, Jason must find her first-and avoid capture himself, for he is their next target. But Terra isn't the only Prophet standing on the precipice of disaster. Ariella wakes from a nightmare foresight of a bloody and broken future. Determined to stop her vision from coming to pass, she sets out to save the newly crowned Selpe emperor from an elite order of assassins. But the deeper she digs into the past, the closer that nightmare future comes-and the more everything points to a dark and dangerous enemy lurking in the shadows. The Mad Prophet is the second installment in the Sorcery and Science Collections epic fantasy saga. At 325,000 words, it includes the five books Skybuilders, Masquerade, Ensnared, Shadowstorm, and Descent.
