She tries to hold on to her resentment but can't quite manage it when faced with the overwhelming charm of Special Agent Joe Perry. Joe and his partner Ryder Rousselle have to get creative to protect Tate from her would-be kidnappers, her preschool class of rogue three-year-olds, and her sniveling, cheating boyfriend. Tate's efforts to keep her mind off Joe fail miserably, forcing her to admit she's attracted to the gorgeous, mesmerizing meddler. With the unsolicited assistance of Tate's fashion conscious Maltipoo, Joe's great-grandbaby-craving grandmother and Ryder's matchmaking girlfriend, Tate wonders if she and Joe will ever get a shot at a relationship - or will a desperate man's bullets mean they just get shot!
