Robot Tom: A Novel
A satirical novel about a robot’s loss of innocence while on his quest to be loved.
Robot Tom - a seven foot tall, 400 pound, 1960’s vintage robot – thought, that becoming a city councilman in a small close-knit town, would give him the opportunity to prove his love of community. In return, his constituents would love him back. Clearly, his programmer and his machine liaisons would never truly love him.
However, on election night, Robot Tom takes a calculated risk, that spirals him into the dark, manipulative world of present day, Mississippi politics.
When Robot Tom is finally crushed by the system, a miracle (or updated programming and a welding machine) would be needed to save him.
