Behold, the Bridegroom Cometh
Product Description
See Behold, the Bridegroom Cometh, 21st Century Edition, by B. Graham Simpson.
Behold, the Bridegroom Cometh (this edition is out of print) encourages the single Christian to wait on God with patience by allowing you to examine overcoming and victorious experiences from the author's life as she recovered from being widowed at a young age, raised her son, and grew emotionally and spiritually so God could use her in a marital state.
Behold, the Bridegroom Cometh is B. Graham Simpson's first in a series of at least seven books to be written to edify Christians, especially Christian women. The first edition was published in 1999. The 21st Century Edition is even more relevant for today's modern Christian. Although it is not intended to be a "how-to" or a "so-many-steps-to" manual, Behold, the Bridegroom Cometh points out seven things that the reader should do that may help her or him establish a plan of action that is more closely aligned with God's Word, and, therefore, with God's Will.
Review
Behold, the Bridegroom Cometh encourages the Christian to wait on God with patience by allowing her to examine experiences from the author's own life. Simpson emerges victoriously from being widowed at a young age and raises her son while growing emotionally and spiritually so God could use her in a marital setting.

From the Author
My prayer for the readers of Behold, the Bridegroom Cometh is that God will g rant that we, who need Jesus Christ in our lives, make Him our Lord as well as our Savior; that we meet and become involved with Jesus in a three-fold manner--body, mind, and spirit--and that through Jesus Christ, we sever ungodly involvement with the flesh, ideas rooted in the system of this world, and spiritual influences spawned by Satan.
Make us aware that while we should be open to accept the mates You would have for us, we also must be prayerful and cautious, lest we are tricked by the enemy. Precious Father, make us ready for marriage--all of us who obey and trust Your Word and who desire to be married--no matter how extreme our lifestyles may be. Prepare us and shape us along with all our prospective mates, dear Father, that through our experiences, we may grow up together and so You may receive glory from our marriages, if it is Your will that we get married.
Teach us, Lord, how to use everything You have provided for us to develop ourselves to our fullest potential, so that we love ourselves first and like who we are. Encourage us by the inspiration of Your Holy Spirit, that our knowledge of You and faith in Your Word will be increased, and that we will become suitable candidates for Your service in marriage. Now, Lord, perform exceedingly, abundantly above that which we could ever think or desire according to Your Word. And by Your Spirit through our faith in Your Son, keep us in Your care as we serve You, waiting to behold the glorious coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
You are in my heart and in my prayers.

From the Back Cover
Centered in the Scriptures, Behold, the Bridegroom Cometh, effectively marries nonfiction with fiction to create a work of art that encourages, exhorts, and instructs the single Christian who wants to be married, especially women who are also seeking a closer relationship with Jesus. Examine overcoming experiences from the author's life -- episodes from her childhood, how she recovers from being a widow at the age of 19, her emotional and spiritual growth, and how God brought her together with her husband. Lisa and Vernetta, fictitious characters, will journey with you through the book. Their comments and questions to the author -- and to the Biblical characters the author uses as examples -- will help you examine issues and concerns faci
