My Stories to Be Told

C. Brown

My intent in writing this series of My stories to be told is to depict how things were so different in the early days of the 50's 60's and 70's in the lives of us young boys and the girls in our life's as we all faced such a predictable future- boys off to war, girls waiting at home. My hope is you will be entertained, feel a part of the events I describe and remember your own life stories along the way. My mother named me Clarence Norvell Brown. I am one of the luckiest men alive today. I like to say I was born perfect. Born perfect to be called to defend our country in Vietnam at the age of 19. I was extremely lucky to graduate from Phillips Texas in the class of 1966. I went all the way through school as Norvell Brown. They called me Charlie Brown in the Navy and to this day that has stuck like glue. My family and old friends still call me Norvell but everyone else just calls me Charlie Brown. I guess you are who people say you are. My wife Trish and I live in the brush country of Texas, Cotulla, Texas. That's down by the border of Laredo. We are both published authors and I am a song writer and recording artist. I hope you enjoy our stories and my music.
