If I Had Courage

‘If I Had Courage’ narrates the tale of a small town boy who belongs to a middle-class family. It describes what may happen when a boy and a girl from different communities fall in love with each other in a small town as they don’t have the courage to even talk about it to their families. They fear that the community barrier will allow no one to accept their relation. So they sacrifice their love and get separated. Sometimes, its consequences are much worse than expected. The story begins in 2008. Swayam and his classmate Srishti are deeply in love with each other. What happens when they realize the community barrier between them? What changes and challenges come in their life over the next eight years? Srishti gets married and Swayam too. Two marriages – one divorce – one death. But did their love die?
