A Stir in the Shadows

Maav Draxmoor’s world is turned upside down when a foreign prince is driven into her family lands. He tells her a tale of a powerful sorcerer pursuing him to retrieve the artifact he now carries. Unknown to both of them, the threat is far worse, the relentless assassin sent for the artifact is just a harbinger of the forces that are about to be unleashed. Maav is soon driven south seeking to warn the rest of the world of what is about to be unleashed. A world fractured and unprepared for the threat. She is joined by Aven Baris, a gifted warrior and sailor, and together they race to ready the kingdoms before it is too late. Their task is not easy, for the people that should be the guardians of the world have proven petty and vain, keeping mankind enfeebled. For Maav and Aven time is not on their side as the winds of war begin to scour the land.
