Stars Above

For millennia, the Gods have fought an endless war. And then, one night, twenty years ago, a child was born. They believe this girl to be the determining factor in ending their millennia-long war. They will do anything to get their hands on her, and so will Gedeon, for she is the daughter of prophecy, and everyone wants to win. Torn from her home, stripped of her crown and forced to live in a new world at eight, Elisaria is no stranger to change. Forced to kill for the King of the Western Empire and haunted by the man who usurped her father, Elisaria runs. Alasdair was raised by his ruthless uncle, Gedeon, and trained to be the perfect soldier. When the opportunity to escape arose, he ran. After years of running around with his band of thieves, Alasdair finally finds the girl who went missing twelve years ago, and he will do anything to have her back in his life. It just so happens that they have a common interest: destroying his uncle. United after twelve years apart, Alasdair and Elisaria will have to fight together to destroy the monsters lurking in the shadows. Will they be able to overcome their past to save their world? Or will they be forced apart by the very forces threatening to destroy them?
