After the SIDS death of her grandson, Philip, she was forced to revisit grief through the death of her daughter, Courtney. Very compelling. The way in which Dr. Clark tells her story gives the reader a timeline of the thoughts and emotions she experienced as she came to grips with the fact that her daughter, her Baby Girl, had indeed left this life. Dr. Clark brings so many different, wonderful elements to her writing. She causes the reader to look within to understand their own feelings concerning grief and the grieving process.
