It was supposed to be a winter hunting trip for Ned and Jake but circumstances alter their quest for the whitetail deer and put them on a path that could lead to destruction. It is Western Pennsylvania in the early 1800s. Salem Crossroads is not much more than a dot on the map where two trails meet. But, it is home to these two farm boys who have distinguished themselves as werewolf hunters. Their fame has spread throughout the territory, but now it is time to relax and enjoy a peaceful deer hunt. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, the hunt turns into a test of survival. What is this new monster they have encountered? Will it become the hunter and the boys the hunted?
