Letters to Kyrgzstan
What began as a project for a small number of Kyrgyz students and teachers quickly developed into something more. A monthly column for a wider audience spread by E-mail and social media that now has an international readership. The columns, each one complemented by one of the authors own cartoons, take a sideways look at a wide range of subjects. With mildly ironic humour and a serious edge they give a personal view of our European way of life. Written from a Western perspective, but with the inhabitants of a small Central Asian country very much in mind.
