Everyone has nightmares about the Auranis coming back. Sometimes nightmares come true. Saythe and Paige Grace have carved out their own little slice of life. They have well-paying jobs, a beautiful daughter, and they're happier than they've ever been. This only gets better when they book a vacation that will last over a week, and with happy hearts, they take Saythe's plane and set off towards the state that used to be Hawai'i. Their vacation was never destined to be peaceful. Upon arriving, strange things start to occur. Saythe's plane is broken into, and they have seen no trace of a single person on the island. Their daughter doesn't know what is going on, but Saythe and Paige were in the Auranis for far too long to let these strange occurrences pass by unnoticed. They try to leave. They can't. The plane has been stripped of its wires. Now they're stranded alone on an island that's been uninhabited since the Auranis, and with a terrifying realization... They understand that perhaps this island never left the Auranis.
