Like its name, Why I Believe (and Sometimes Wish I Didn't) is an enigma. It's a small book, but it's full of large ideas. You expect it's going to preach to you, but it never does. You anticipate it will tell you what to believe, but it does not. Instead, it's the story of one person's very human trek toward faith with all the doubts and confusion that come along with it.
