Isaiah: Twenty-Two Visions From the Lord
Isaiah contains twenty-two visions given to the prophet to deliver to the Divided Kingdom (but specifically the Southern Kingdom) and her kings. These visions foretell the future of all the nations and the coming of the LORD as a Child all the way through the formation of the LORD's kingdom and all of eternity! Isaiah is a prophecy book, and as such, many people try to interpret past history as future prophecy. Dr. Hastings includes in this book a series of helps to guide you to an understanding of the LORD's visions, when they occurred in the past, or when they will occur in the future. Additionally, Dr. Hastings includes a prophecy summary after every section of a vision to pinpoint the time of its fulfillment. This book and be used for individual or group study.
The chapters in this commentary match the chapters in your Bible for easy searching and study. It has all the makings of a Study Bible for this one book of the Bible.
