Salvation for a Dark Soul (Dark Souls Series 2)

Marlin and Mary met simply enough when their best friends, Paul and Cara, began a whirlwind relationship. From the moment he set eyes on her, Marlin knew he had to win her heart. After living for centuries with self-damnation and darkness in his Viking heart, she is his light and salvation for all of eternity. Mary's mother, miserable, alone, bitter and going senile, will say and do anything to keep Mary from the happiness she sees in her daughter until Mary rebels completely and forsakes her family for the love she hasn't known since she was a child. A secretive phone call leads to a misunderstanding, sending Mary running to her cousin Emily, hiding from Marlin. Upon finding her gone, Marlin drinks himself to a stupor and thinks of self-harm. His brother Jaeger finds him to bring him home. Can their love fix a misunderstanding before it's too late?
