Screen Door

"Boy you better stop running in and out of the house, before you break my screen door!" That was the words of my grandmother growing up down South during the 70's. If you caused damaged in anyway to that screen door, prepare to take a trip to the nearest tree to get a switch. It better not be a small switch either, because if she had to get the switch, it was going to be the biggest one off the tree. The screen door was a status symbol in the South back then. Families took pride in having a nice screendoor, and it was symbolic of growing up Down South. Witness the laughter, pain, and tears through the eyes of Kendrick as we follow him, his family, and friends through the journey of life.
