Heartless

When high school student Eric Williams awakens from a coma, he finds that not only was he in a car accident, but a demon has stolen his heart. He doesn’t eat, he can’t sleep, and all color is slowly fading from him and his world. Not to mention the gaping hole in his chest.

Eric was always that much-needed laugh, that last bit of honesty, and unwavering support for his best friends Seth, Cam, and Robin. So, it’s no surprise that they would do anything – like battling a Cyclops or outrunning a vicious monster and deadly hunter – to get their friend back to normal. Armed with their newfound spirit weapons, the group must journey to the mysterious White Tower and take back Eric’s heart from the sinister Mr. Omit. However, for those who reach the White Tower, only one thing is certain: death.

Heartless is a novel about friendship, the power of life, and the acceptance of loss.
