Her Dragon's Curse (Realms Series)

One moment of uncontrollable rage had damned him to an eternity of servitude... Cursed to serve whomever possessed his amulet, Kort had become accustomed to the violence of his existence. Lifetimes of serving masters who viewed him only as a tool of death, havoc, and destruction had taken their toll on the former Vezpan prince, so when his latest Master summoned him from his magical prison he thought he knew what to expect. Never had he been blindsided by a command before and never had he wanted to do as he had been bid more, but there is something compelling about the woman welding his power... something that warns him the strong-willed beauty commanding him will steal what's left of his blackened soul and leave him aching in a punishment far more torturous than those who bound him to his amulet prison had ever intended for him to endure. Does Kort dare dream of a forever with the one woman to ever quiet his raging dragon half?

One moment of desperation had saved her in a way she never expected... The moment Matilda learned her father had sold her to the cruel and sadistic Lord Ubel she had been looking desperately for a way out, only to have her twin sister deliver just such a means to her in the form of an ancient amulet rumored to wield the power of the fierce dragon shifter dubbed The Destroyer. When Matilda rubbed the amulet her only goal was to escape her impending nuptials, but she found a wounded, haunted warrior with eyes guaranteed to haunt her dreams. And the moment he takes her in his arms to do the one thing guaranteed to break the contract between her father and her betrothed The Destroyer takes far more than her innocence.

Certain he is beyond redemption and unworthy of love, Kort fears that by loving Matilda he will somehow taint her, but Mati refuses to lose the only man to steal her heart. Despite the precarious nature of her current situation she dares to reach for the happily ever after she's always wanted. Can Matilda convince her dragon that her love is enough to free him of the shackles of his past even as he is forced to face the same rage that had once damned him?
