The Lady Detective

Beautiful genie Yasmin has many talents--the best of which might be changing into a cat! Her crush on Joseph the Magician is less delightful. Forbidden to her when she was the sultan's wife, now that the harem has been disbanded, the handsome sorcerer seems further out of reach than ever. Better to pretend she never won her freedom than to risk him rejecting her. Yasmin will have to get over that in short order. Her very first investigation has uncovered a deadly plot--and maybe more threats besides. When Joseph turns up at the same house party, she suspects he's on a mission too. If they hope to escape with their skins intact, Yasmin needs the genie of her dreams to supply backup!
