V. Imp

Nada Gordon

Product Description Poetry. Mood-riddled hijinx and impudent lyric protest, drama, and parody from the author of SWOON and ARE NOT OUR LOWING HEIFERS SLEEKER THAN NIGHT-SWOLLEN MUSHROOMS? - both of which are available from SPD. Grotesque buffoonery, and furious wistfulness ring out among V. IMP.'s cacophonous panoply of tones: "Some days my idiolect just betrays me/ as the hmm kind of interesting phoenix of gyroscopic angst." About the Author Nada Gordon was born in Oakland in 1964 and has lived in Bolinas, San Francisco, Tokyo, and Brooklyn. Her seven books of poetry include VILE LILT and SCENTED RUSHES from Roof Books. A founding member of the Flarf Collective, she has performed widely in the USA and abroad. She teaches English as a Foreign Language at Pratt Institute and is at work on a holographic memoir.
