Wanted - Witch's Cat - Apply Within

What's a witch without a cat? But where can a lonely witch find just the right feline familiar? This heartwarming and fun-to-read picture book celebrates getting the perfect pet . . . from the perfect place. Cat wanted! A lonely, sweet-hearted witch needs a companion--but it has to be special. So she asks every kitty who applies: Could you ride on my broom across the Moon, and stir my cauldron with a wooden spoon? Could you remember my spells from beginning to end? But, most of all, will you be my friend?" But not one of the Persians, Siamese, and tabbies she interviews has just the right qualifications for the job. Maybe, just maybe, there's a place where she can find the perfect cat to share her witchy lifestyle. Kids will love reading the refrain out loud--and they'll delight in the quirky illustrations and satisfying conclusion.
