In the mid-eighties, Yolanda landed an opportunity to work in local television before producing the teen soap, Almost There, in 1988. In 1992, she produced, directed and wrote her first film, Until Tomorrow Comes. Also, wrote the literary version of UTC which is entitled, Ten Weeks in 1996. She studied Film/TV at USC and UCLA. She was a member of the Romance Writers of America in the 1980's. Currently, Darnell is totally committed in writing, producing and directing productions with Christian themes.
